itslearning was created to support a student-centered model of education where every member of the college or university community contributes to building an engaging learning environment

- Rich content creation. Students are encouraged to create multi-media and Web 2.0 content and to share it in discussion groups, projects, blogs, and wikis
- Open communication. Integrated email, collaboration tools and mobile access enable institutions to keep communication channels open and learning connected.
- Connecting to each other. Students and faculty connect with each other in classrooms, on campus, around the country and around the world through the itslearning global community.
