Building a network of local and global learning communities

Both faculty and students benefit from interactions beyond their own department and institution. itslearning breaks down barriers of time, place and distance to create connected global learning communities.

  • The itslearning Global Community allows faculty and students to join courses from other institutions anywhere in the world and invite users from others schools to join their courses.
  • Library 2.0 enables faculty to share teaching materials and content and collaborate with all itslearning faculty globally
  • Collaboration and survey tools and project rooms make it easy for faculty to bring new perspectives into the classroom, carry out joint projects within and between departments, and engage with colleagues in other institutions.
  • Text and video conferencing, assessment portfolios and Individual Learning Plans improve coordination and communication between faculty members, students, and administrators, as well as a broader community of colleagues, experts, and mentors.
