June 24, 2013- itslearning, the digital learning platform of choice for teachers, announced today the release of long-awaited functionality to enhance personalized learning and communication and development for administrators, teachers and students. Built through an ongoing partnership with Forsyth County Schools, educators can expect to see new tools to enhance connected learning, standards mastery and reporting, critical thinking and supplemental content distribution.
“Working as an integral part of the itslearning Product Design team has allowed us to provide input on our product requirements and ongoing needs of Forsyth County. itslearning is an important instructional delivery and collaboration tool across all levels of our district and our partnership assures us that we have implemented the most robust learning management system available for educators and students alike,” said Bailey Mitchell, Forsyth County Schools CTO.
Launching shortly after ISTE 2013, its learning will upgrade its learning management system featuring a revolutionary Standards Mastery and Personalization engine, which is unique to itslearning and offers immediate feedback, progress tracking and a recommendation platform that provides teachers suggested resources and content tailored for individual students and standards. By offering supplemental content based on standard mastery, itslearning provides tailored learning resources so teachers and administrators can track progress toward individual mastery.
In addition, itslearning will release new tools to help teachers save time on everyday tasks including Gradebook enhancements with automated scoring of assessments within the system, SIS integration and instructional feedback; Attendance enhancements with immediate student data imports from the SIS and integrated dashboard to help configure and monitor student attendance and seating charts quickly; Content Migration enhancements to help districts and teachers maximize time with simple one-click integration of pre-existing content to the its learning platform.
“itslearning focuses on helping over 2.5 million educators, students and administrators every day around the world. We are consistently listening and learning what works in the classroom and updating our platform to ensure the most effective, efficient and rewarding tools are available for teacher and student success,” said Kevin Pawsey, itslearning US, CEO. “Our development releasing this fall helps extend learning opportunities, maximize instructional time and provide important information for standards-mastery and supplemental content, which we think will benefit everyone in the district for everyday success.”
